no pics but like you i have fond memories of the bird pen we called it because i lived in caerpantywyll just below there i could here those birds all the time yep good times eh?

There are not many places in the world where you could wake up to the sound of distant peacocks every morning. Does anyone remember the hell-hound that guarded it? Grav

Id forgotten about the birds and the peacocks I used to live opposite the park at number 4 park row gardens used to love it if anyone has any photos id love to see any of the areas of the park or around where i lived.I lived there in the 70,s thankyou for the memories.I live in england now im a welsh girl through and through tho,well done on your fab site keep up the fab work.

I moved away in 1979, knew every inch of Cyfarthfa Park, I don' remember this aviary!.

well it was there just below the tennis courts and bowling green overlooking the pandy pitch which was our home ground andy....
