Hello everyone I am new here. I am researching my grandmother`s family who came from a farm in the Brecon Beacons. I was very close to her as a child. She always spoke of her heritage with great affection and pride. She lived all her life in west London ( Ladbroke Grove) where her Dad had a diary. I saw a programme on TV recently saying that there were lots of these "Welsh Dairies" in London .....most are now gone. Sadly I missed most of the information about this industry can anyone tell me some more about them. Looking forward to being part of this group. Best wishes Viv By the way - my Nan talked about Merthyr (the way her mother had done), it seemed that it was a "bright lights ... big city" sort of place - do you recognize that description ? I am guessing not quite
