I need to find the reverendo John Jenkins born about 1838 in St fagans Glamorgan Wales, he lived in Merthyr Tydfil in 1861 in Troedyrhiw Upper District in 5 Jones Street.
In the census of 1871 I can not to find him, is posible that he emigrated to EEUU - Ohio -Palmyra.
Could help me to find him.

Hi Federico,

There IS a John J. Jenkins - listed as 30 years old - in the Portage County, Ohio, census of 1870. His occupation is listed as Congregational preacher. He is married; his 24-year-old wife's 'name' looks more like 'gwraig' (Welsh for wife) than anything.
