Meetings were originally held in my grandfather's house at Ffos-y-fran( the Bogey), as the numbers grew the meetings were moved to a big room above Burtons Menswear. My grandfather was then in a position to put forward sufficient monies to enable a new chapel to be built on a piece of land opposite where the Spar shop is now. Are there any photos?. It has since been knocked down, but meetings were moved to the old Co-op which is now Merthyr Dry Cleaners.

The BBC once did a documentary programme featuring the Apostolic Church on Brecon Road (the old one, before they moved to the Co-op). It was called "O Happy Day" and featured Pastor Caleb Price.
My father (Gordon Taylor) was leading the singing of the song "O Happy Day" and the producer love his 'conducting' but asked him to stop singing!
