I have just found my relations on the 1911 census at 1 Bethesda Street Merthyr Tydfil - which I now know is the Wellington Inn. There was always a rumour that they were connected to a pub in Merthyr but we never thought it was right. Has anyone got any info on this? the surname is Kennedy. Thanks
YES I REMEMBER THE WHITE HORSE PUB,THE TWYN BUS USED TO STOP OUTSIDE,BEFORE ITS SLOW CLIMB UP THE HILL,USED TO COST 1 PENNY.POST OFFICE NEXT DOOR, AND A FISH SHOP THE OTHER SIDE,LATER THE FISH SHOP BECAME A BETTING SHOP.
