Hello according to the Electoral Register list for Merthyr Tydfil 1918 and 1919 a THOMAS PUGH and EDWARD HAMER were residents if there were any females at the address they were not over the age of 30 which was the age of voting for female voters at that time at 41 LLEWELLYN STREET DOWLAIS/ MERTHYR TYDFIL. In 1918 Edward was in the army but was not in the Spring 1919 list. In 1925 a OWEN JOSEPH GALE was living at than address. Perhaps Edward returned to DOWLAIS after 1915 for a short period of time?. Hello Paul Llewellyn street is still there with some new houses built in place of old but it looks like no 41 has been knocked down. If you search on googlemaps you can see a street view of the houses.
