Hi. My name is Myra Jones-Williams McWethy live in San Diego, California but have a 100% Welsh heritage. (Some of you may know of my cousin, Gareth Wyn Jones, from Llanfairfechan, better known on BBC Wales as "The Hill Farmer" or "The Tweeting Farmer!") I just finished my master's degree in Critical and Creative Thinking at the University of Massachusetts, and am now working on a post-graduate project about decision making and its historical outcomes. I was in Merthyr Tydfil for four days last June, but could find no one to interview who had participated in the original 1992 Pfizer Drug Trials. I don't need to ask anything potentially embarrassing, just what it was like to "after the fact" know that you participated in a somewhat historical event in the history of medicine. Interviews would be conducted via email or Skype. I am also interested in talking to anyone who worked or was connected to Thomas Horton and the French Letter Factory.
