Dose anybody remember the Evans dairy on Pant Road? As a boy I used to go with "Evans the milk" to the local farms and collect milk in churns, I could only move the empties. We would tak it back to the dairy, fill bottles on a big machine, and then deliver it, all on horse and cart. I have tried to identify the dairy on Pant Road but cant. I suppose it could have been the of Victoria Street. Does anyone know?

I lived in the terraced houses directly opposite the dairy on Pant Road. The car park is where the houses once stood opposite the Bodega(silver slipper)pub. The dairy was between the pub and where the chippy is now.I remember the building well.We always bought milk from Prossers though.Otherside of Pant Rd top of Francis Street.Hope this helps.
