\hi all
looking for any information on a Daniel Jones coal miner and his wife Sophia Howells,
family were living at 6 watercourse st in 1911. Any information would be gratefully received.

Hello SUE On the FINDMYPAST website 1939 Register there is a SOPHIA JONES born 28/6/1874 a widow living with looks like her two sons WILLIAM.J. JONES born 20/2/1902 and NOAH JONES born 29/5/1904 both PLUMMERS and his wife LYDIA and their son GWYNFRYN at 7 WATERCOURSE STREET DOWLAIS/PENYDARREN. This could be the family who just moved next door to where they lived in 1911,the names and births match!. Hope this is helpful to you.

Mike this sounds like them as Gwnyfryn was a cousin to my ex husband,
it is so difficult trying to do the tree for my three sons as their Dad and myself sadly
do not communicate. My two youngest do no have a good relationship with their father
and this family history very large scrapbook is taking longer to do because of this. I did meet Gwnyfryn
and I know he was a teacher. Also sadly apart from my ex father in law I have no other family photos for the boys
of the welsh side of their family. But thank you for this information as Sophia is my sons great gran.
