My late mother used to tell me of a Music Hall or Theatre in Merthyr in 1917. Can anyone help me with the name of it and location. I believe in those days it was managed by a man possibly called Isiah or similar. My maternal grandmother worked there All and any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

The manager was called Israel Price he was manager of two of Merthyr's theatres, the Temperance Hall and the Theatre Royal he was also manager of the Penydarren Cinema, the Temperance Hall is in John Street (town) and the Theatre Royal is Pontmorlais, Look at Google maps, the theatres are on the alangeorge site
