Beddoes on Castle Street, Merthyr, 1800s

Good day from across the pond. 

I'm working on finding any available information on my Beddoe ancestors and have hit a brick wall.  Here's what I know (or think I know!) -- maybe someone can help?

Henry BEDDOE (husband; Born about 1791 in Bilston, Staffordshire, England)
Margaret EVANS (wife; born 1794 Troedyrhiw, Glamorgan, Wales; died Mar 1861 Breconshire, Glamorgan, Wales)

    William Henry BEDDOE (Birth 08 Feb 1821 in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales  -- Death 04 Jan 1908 in Rolla, Phelps County, Missouri, United States)
        Married Mary PARCELL of Carmarthanshire, Wales; arrived in USA in 1851
    Benjamin D BEDDOE  (Birth 08 Mar 1823 in Merthyr, Glamorgan, Wales -- Death 23 Mar 1859 in Merthyr, Glamorgan, Wales)  unmarried; buried in Merthyr Cemetery.
    Susannah BEDDOE (Birth 24 May 1826 in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales)
    Elizabeth BEDDOE (Birth 21 Mar 1828 in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales -- Death 1870 in Aberdare, Glamorgan, Wales)

    Ann BEDDOE (Birth 13 Feb 1839 in Wales, England)

Most of the BEDDOE children were christened / baptized at Wesleyan Methodist, Merthyr Tydfil, Glam., Wales

I am descended form William Henry BEDDOE and Mary PARCELL above.

I have found Henry BEDDOE in 1851 and 1861 census, with some of his children, but have not found William Henry at alll.  I have found Mary PARCELL in the 1841 census.

In 1851 and 1861 Henry BEDDOE was living on Castle Street (35 Castle Street in 1851 and as a boarder in the house of Thomas and Sarah JONES (his daughter) at 26 Castle Street in 1861).  I cannot find him or any of the Beddoes at all in 1851.  Wondering if anyone can point me to the Castle Street listings for that census?  I haven't been able to find Castle Street in 1841 at all -- not sure which enumeration district it is in...  Are any relatives still living in the area?

Would also really love to track Henry back farther to Bilston, England and discover brothers, parents, etc.  Have been unable to get much information there, either.

Hello STACY There were I think 4 streets in MERTHYR TYDFIL/DOWLAIS areas called CASTLE STRRET. I know there was one in DOWLAIS (UPPER )the others I think were in MERTHYR TYDFIL (LOWER).There is a HENRY BEDDOE born 1790 in CASTLE STREET MERTHYR (LOWER) occupation BRICKMAKER 1851 census. In 1841 census there is a WILLIAM BEDDOE born 1791 occupation BRICKMAKER living with family at PENTREBACH NEW ROW (LOWER MERTHYR TYDFIL. The daughters ages and job are a good match also the wife's name is not MARY is say's MARTHA it might be a written mistake .

WILLIAM and MARTHA (Edwards) BEDDOE from New Row, Pentrebach (mentioned in the post above) are my 4x great grandparents.
WILLIAM  a brickmaker died in 1846 and is buried in St. Tydfil Parish Churchyard.
The 1841 census does not say where he was born but it does say that he was not from this county.
So i too have hit a brick wall in my research of this family.
MARTHA was from Merthyr Tydfil and died there in 1856.
The family were also Wesleyan Methodist.
I have only found 6 children for them so far and they are
BENJAMIN Beddoe 1813 – 1816
CATHARINE Beddoe 1821 – 1842 ----- Unmarried buried in  St Tydfil Churchyard
THOMAS Beddoe 1824 –
ELIZABETH Beddoe 1826 – ----- married Thomas Davies , on the 1851 census they were
living at 112 Pentrebach ,Merthyr Tydfil. Elizabeths widowed mother MARTHA was living with them.
ANNE Beddoe 1829 –
MARY Beddoe 1831 -1902.
I am descended from MARY and her husband William Winters.
I think that my Beddoe family and yours are probably related
but i dont know how to find out for sure as a dont know where William was born.
