Hi - I gave my sister a few photos of 'Merthyr Civil Defence', Hoover Apprentice, MTC Buses and a few others recently. She lives in The Parade, she assures me that she has passed them on. could you let me know if you have have had them.

I am a researcher working with Testimony Films and we are making a series about Wales in the seventies. I've found some great pictures of students who attended the school during this decade and I would love to get in touch with them. We are looking for people who grew up in the 70s and would like to share their stories with us. You can view our previous series 'Wales in the Sixties' on Youtube too. It might be a good idea to ask members and non-members to scour charity shops when they visit other towns or cities: some have old photos for sale,
as well as old postcards. Whenever I remember(!)I look out for them.

I have been a member for quite. A few years and only once have I found a photo of a football match inMerthyr with a child sitting on the wall. I have searched repeatedly for it since then but can't find it. Has anyone else seen it that could tell me what page its on. I've been on all the football pages and can't find it. Am I getting old? Lol. Thanks
