Relations were running the Cardigan Arms Inn Dowlais in 1901 census has anyone any info on this Inn and does it still exhist today,thank you Jaz

Looking at the list on the Old Merthyr Tydfil website, it is/was at 40 Victoria Street, Dowlais. Hope that helps.

i took a photo of the CARDIGAN ARMS on the 10th feb,so it definitely exists complete with smokers banished out on to the pavement!

My late father in law David Davies from Spring Street and his brother Arthur from Mount Pleasant Street used to be there 7 days a week! This was after voting against Sunday opening in the 1960s.

The Cardigan Arms in Victoria Street, Dowlais is still there has my brother's sister-in-law is landlady.
