Hi buffylewis, No,The Crown in Wyndham Street was not the Wyndham Arms.It was nearer to Yew Street towards the Spiritualist Church. In fact following its conversion into a house it was used to hold spititualist meetings in what was a long bar upstairs. However due to declining numbers following its conversion as a meeting place the church decided to buy the Wesleyan Chapel St David's for the holding of sisterhood and spiritualist meetings and where it still continues to function today.
