I'm sure you mean the Glove and Shears- just at the start of Twyn Hill. I used to go there a lot off and on over the years when I lived in MT and when coming back to visit- although it was always a bit of a dive !

You could always get a lock in accompanied with a take away from the Chinese around the corner
