The only Hill Street in the borough, to my knowledge, is at Troedyrhiw, which still exists.

There were a number of Hill Streets in the Parish of Merthyr Tydfil. Not all now exist. There was a Hill Street in Caepantywyll ( now demolished ) and on the 1891 census there was living at 11 & 12, Hill Street, Caepantywyll, Merthyr Tydfil a Joseph Power from Ireland and wife Margaret. Is this your family This Hill Street is in Cyfarthfa, Upper Merthyr Tydfil.
