Did you know that the late actor Anthony Quayle (Guns of Navarone/Ice Cold in Alex were two of his films) had Welsh roots? His maternal grandparents came from Merthyr area and he was related to Davies/Harrap/Pearce/Overton families. His autobiography mentions happy Welsh hols he spent with family there.
