Hi - I believe Quentin Lewis currently lives in the Rhoose area. He was a police officer in Barry for many years, after leaving the army where I think he was a bandsman, he retired from the police force a few years ago.

I'm not any connections with Gellifaelog, but the name Dennis Burns springs out at me. If it is the same Dennis who went on to work in the Merthyr Express and had a younger brother called Lester, then I am sorry to tell you he died a couple of years ago. I worked in the ME when Dennis was there and my husband (a Brynheulog Street boy) is friendly with Lester.

Yes, Dennis Burns, if it is the same one, was living in Abercanaid and died a couple of years ago. I also worked on the Merthyr Express from their old days in the Southey office of Glebeland Street and Dennis was working there then.
