I have no answer to the damaged tower question, but I would like to get in touch with you about Church records and the connection between my family in times past. I will get back to you once I have formed a couple of questions in the hope you may be able to help . Many thanks Pedr.

My great great grandparents, and my great grandma and uncle are buried at Vaynor, the gravestones are still there. They were living there in early 1900's, the name was Greatrex.

Thanks for explaining your interest and that being a Swansea man you can't help. I would like to find a local person with some knowledge of Cefn and who can put me right on a couple of question about my ancestors, one of whom kept a newsagent and tailors shop on 186 High St. He died of Spanish Flu in 1918
