I was having a look at the large arch which was once part of the Cyfarthfa ironworks. There are passageways and small tunnels built into it.What part of the ironmaking process was the arch involved in?

Hello, the remains that you can see when standing infront if the Cyfarthfa Ironworks consist of 6 large blast furnaces, there were originally 7 but one was demolished and the huge brick arch that you can see was built to bridge the gap in the bank of furnaces. Hope this helps.
