Hi!
Does anyone know of a Rolles family, possibly of Ceredig Street, Pentrebach in the early 1980's.
Hit a brick wall researching my grandfather's half brother (Griffith Williams), who I believe moved to South Wales around the 1920's. Believe his daughter, Vera may have married into the Rolles family c 1942. Have a family photo and some family correspondence, but struggling to link the pieces together!
Hope someone can help.
Best wishes all!
Bronwen

Hello Bronwen, I have done a little research into the Rolles Family.I have not come across a Vera Rolles as yet but that does not mean there isn't a connection.I will make enquiries this evening and will get back to you should I find a link. Regards QYGS66

Thanks. Appreciate your reply.
FreeBMD shows a marriage between William Rolles and Vera Williams in Merthyr Tydfil in 2nd qtr 1942. (Of course, there is the possibility this may not be 'my' Vera!)
Mod, sorry, maybe I should have put this in Family History, on reflection.

Hello Bronwen, I am sorry that I have been unable to make a family connection.Whilst my family Rolles Tree did use that spelling of the name it changed to Rolls in the 20th Centuary according to the census records. Regards QYGS 1966
