Just found this site a couple of days ago. I was born merthyr vale, and lived at troedyrhiw, i left the area 30 yrs ago.love this site. my father in law was from aberdare and worked for granada .does alan george remember digging a rather large hole in either someones garden or garage looking for tydfils well, no, they did not find it..did'nt know where to put this , hope you see it alan..norman alive and well..

Hello Norman, Yes, I remember, we dug a huge hole in my garage in Well Street, but we didn't find the well!
