Excellent website! Looking through the Francis Crawshay’s photograph album (Arthur Lewis Collection), page 3, ninth photo down on left side of page: looks very much like Aberaman House (later site of NCB offices, Farm Road, Aberaman – no longer in existence). There is a series of photographs available on the Digital Archive of the Rhondda Cynon Taf Service (enter Aberaman House in the search box)
Al the best, gcymro1

I have just discovered this website and recognise a number of photographs on the Francis Crawshay site. In particular I believe the house on the third page, six down on the left hand column is Rose Cottage in Cathedine, former home or Rose Crawshay (1828-1907). This house has since been renamed as Tower House in Cathedine. I also believe that a number of the other unknown pictures are in and around Cathedine and the B4560.
Do you happen to have any more photographs from this collection please. They are fascinating!!!
Many thanks
Simon Brow
