Does anyone have any information about my great grandparents Thomas & Catherine Pugh (nee Hughes) Their eldest was Thomas j.Pugh my grandad died 1981, Jean who died at young age during the 40's, Richard killed on H.M.S.Gallatea ww2,Mabel who went into service in Bulith wells & married Earnie Powell,Dai who served in Africa, 1 infant who passed away Melvyn & I believe another sibling who died.
I know my grandfather Tommy Pugh came from Dowlais top. Dai his wife Glennis & g grandma lived in seventh Avenue merthyr, before moving onto the gurnos. I would love to know about the life in Dowlais Top & any information about the Pugh family..good or bad!
