Freda is my mother and is now unable to talk of events and people in her early life, so does any one recall her?
Her maiden name was Thomas, daughter of Winnie, lived in Penywern and then in rectory close Dowlais.
Regularly went to St Johns church Dowlais.

A personal message HAS been sent to Ken, and addresses his claim of bad manners been shown to him for not replying. I wish to make public that the use of the "f" word is NOt acceptable, even if a letter or two is blanked. This is what i recieved. I have been misled in the past with info supplied on forums such as this, which then created a huge amount of extra work because the info was false and nothing more than could be found in various places on the web. I am not implying that the info Ken has posted is false or inaccurate, just a little vague. My not replying to him was due to many reasons not least deaths in the family, so the state of someones mind is often distracted. add to that the fact there has been an ongoing problem for me with web connections. The original question posted at the top of thread still applies, info on early live, stories, photos etc etc. Fred had a lot of realtives living in nearby houses and streets.
