Hi Joseph
Sorry to hear about your dad and thank you for your reply and kind words, i was only eleven when the accident happened and its only now i can talk about it. I have tried to get in touch with people that knew him, my mother is still friendly with Rhydian and Tegwyn Edwards but i would find it hard to talk to them about it. It was a sad day for everyone that knew him i know that he was well liked and i am proud of him for being such a well loved person. Thank you once again for taking the time to reply and your kind words they really mean a lot to me and my family.

Hi Berwyn, hope you will get to see this message as I have only just read this thread and its a couple of years old. I think you were a year older than me in school and I remember the day the accident happened. My father Glan Howells worked as personnel manager at the works and was the one who told your mum of the accident. You probably don't remember him but he came to your house a number of times after it happened and I can remember him taking some of my toys for Menai at Christmas time.( I can also remember your mum had lovely long dark wavy hair)Its strange how things come back to you but I also remember your mum giving my dad chocolate to give to me but I cant remember if it was for Christmas or easter. It was a very sad time but I think you only realise how tragic it was when we are now 'grown up' with our own children. Please give my best wishes to your mum as she may remember Glan Howells 'little girl'.

Hi I have only just read this post as I didn't get much luck locating anyone and haven't been on here for a good ten months, thank you for your kind words. it was a very difficult time for my mother and the family and I didn't realise about the toys so thank you for that. I thought I would try to find people that knew him as I was only eleven when he died just to hear some stories from people he knew and what kind of person he was outside family life. I will tell my mother that I have heard from you and yes she did have long wavy hair. Thank you very much for taking the time to write a reply.
