Benjamin Williams (a Saddler) on the 1901 census was living with his wife Mary and family at 32 Brecon Road, Merthyr. Mary was the daughter of Sarah Scott who married my great grandfather William Rees. On the 1871 census William and Sarah Rees were running the Dyffryn Arms in Merthyr. On the 1881 census they were at the Narrow Gauge Inn in Glebeland Street, Merthyr.
William had three sisters: Mary, Ann and Sarah. Ann married a Rees Rees and Sarah married a Thomas.
Does anyone have any links to the above. If so, I would be pleased to hear from you.

I'm related !!! Sarah Jones/Scott/Rees was my Gt Gt Grandmother. My Gt Grandfather was William Scott. His father was John Scott, son of Robert Dodds Scott who came to Merthyr Tydfil from Ancrum, Roxburghshire, Scotland. Robert Dodds Scott was landlord of the Crown Inn, Nelson when he died. He's buried in Llanfabon.
