Hello,
I would genuinely appreciate any information anyone has regarding my family (the men were mainly Colliery workers/Under Managers, Brewers and Innkeepers).
Head: GEORGE MORGAN

wife, Janet nee Paterson b. 4 DEC 1880 • Cambuslang, Lanarkshire
d. JAN 1974 • Yorkshire
David married Maggie Evans - b. 1870 c. Merthyr Tydfil, Wales
- d.1936 • Denaby Main, Doncaster, Yorkshire
Any information would be appreciated, in particular, any on Maggie Evans or any of the above, especially those which are highlighted, (i.e, where David and Maggie met and were married, did they have children etc etc). What happened to Samuel and Mary Ann? Where did they end up?
I have learnt quite a lot already, through a 'new-found' relation of mine, Nita Pearson nee Morgan, who has researched our family's ancestry for over 15 years. She is very dedicated and has been a real font of knowledge. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she has already been in contact with you on this forum already, over the past 15 years. She has discovered that David and Maggie seemed to travel quite a lot. David had already travelled extensively before he met Maggie (I'm presuming he hadn't met her at that time!) and as a couple, they had lived in Cambuslang, Whitburn, West Lothian, Mexborough and Denaby Main, with my great grandparents, on and off, for many years. They are both buried alongside my great grandparents, which makes me suspect that Maggie never did have any children of her own. ('Another' ungrounded presumption!)
Thanks anyway
Anji
