Is there anyone out there who used to work at O P during the late 60's?

Hi merchyd, O.P. is in Dowlais. I've had plenty of cheap chocs from the shop. Not sure if the shop is still going.

In his early days my late father used to drive for the company-long distance I believe. His name was Edward Mervyn (Mel) Adams. In the fifties and maybe early 60's I suspect.
Jeff Adams.

My Father Viktor Skoludek was a manager of OP Chocolates at the Merthyr Factory. So many memories. Easter eggs, Walnut Whips, Pischinger Torte, Chocolate Biscuits, Do any of you remember him of the factory?

Hi, Merced, I worked in the accounts office, starting off in late '67 at Merthyr and then moving to the new factory in Dowlais until '68. I think I remember a lady called Eira - was she the receptionist/ telephonist? I remember the lovely smell of baking biscuits up at the Dowlais factory and masses of walnut whips. Accounts office boss was Neville and I remember Mr Kirby, one of the other bosses. Can't remember the names of others. Anyone out there who remember these?
