Hello,
Following the redesign of the Forum we have decided to remove the activation process when you join the Forum as this caused many users problems.
You will however still be sent an activation email and this will add you to the Old Merthyr Tydfil Forum Email List. However as before if you have an AOL account and some others you will not be able to be added to the mailing list. We do reccommend a Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail Account.
If you have any comments on the new design please post below.
But you can still post!
Regards,
Old Merthyr Tydfil.

Have just joined your forum. Initially I have nothing to add to your postings. Would be interested in peoples' recollections of life in the 30's & 40's in the area of the Walk, Brecon Road and Quar.

Being an ex Aberfan resident it is pleasing to see such a site set up. It has a great deal of potential I would have thought. Congratulations to its originators!!

I just sort of 'stumbled' across this site and it's just perfect. Been searching about my family in Wales for ages. I know I have relatives there still but I have never been. Have loads of info about the REES dynasty to share. I suppose I put it into Family boxes, wish me luck, here goes.

Hi Lloyd,
Really enjoying your site, have already been in contact with Rees' family in Australia because of it.
How do I attach a document to the site?. Its 3 pages long, but interesting to any Reeses out there,
Cheers,
Ron.

Hello Ron,
Thanks for the kind words about the website. Unfortunately, there's no facility for attaching documents to the forum.
Sorry, Lloyd
